Fermin Aldeguer’ s progression through the junior ranks was rapid and relentless. Early success in national MiniGP and Cuna de Campeones competition led to strong results in the European Talent Cup, where regular podium finishes marked him out as a rider to watch. A switch to the Moto2™ European Championship proved decisive. Aldeguer dominated his debut season, winning the opening six races and securing the title. That form earned wider recognition and a breakthrough opportunity in Moto2™, first as a substitute and then as a full time rider. Steady development gave way to a standout 2023 campaign. Victory at Silverstone sparked a remarkable late season run, with four consecutive wins propelling him to third overall. A MotoGP™ debut followed in 2025 with Gresini Racing and Aldeguer delivered immediately. A landmark victory in Indonesia secured Rookie of the Year honours. Remaining with Gresini for 2026, Aldeguer targets further race wins despite a disrupted pre season.

Nel 2020, vince le prime sei gare e conquista il titolo Superstock 600 alla prima stagione nella categoria. Nel 2021 passa alle elettriche e partecipa alla coppa del mondo FIM Enel MotoE™ con l ' Openbank Aspar Team. Lascia il segno e si guadagna l’ opportunità di correre in Moto2™ con i colori MB Conveyors Speed Up come sostituto. Un settimo posto ad Aragon dimostra il suo potenziale: così nel 2022 corre tutto il Mondiale e raccoglie due quarti posti. Nel 2023 inizia col freno a mano tirato, ma poi esplode: vince a Silverstone e più avanti domina le ultime quattro gare proiettandosi al terzo posto in campionato. L’ exploit attira i vertici della Ducati, che lo mettono sotto contratto per passare nella classe regina dal 2025. Prima però deve correre il 2024 in Moto2™, dove il titolo gli sfugge. In MotoGP™ l’ appuntamento col podio non tarda ad arrivare e in Indonesia centra il successo: il numero 54 diventa così il secondo più giovane di sempre a vincere nella categoria. Le premesse per un 2026 pirotecnico ci sono tutte.
