Most riders will arrive on Thursday, and it’ s media day. TV interviews for your home broadcasters and outlets around the world, a Press Conference and our special MotoGP™ programming all cover the latest breaking news and headlines from inside the paddock. Gearing up is the name of the game. And then it’ s go time.
FRIDAY
Friday is the day you come through the gates and take your seats, or find the best place to watch from, as track action gets underway. For MotoGP™, FP1 in the morning is a session to get familiarised with track conditions and see where the level is at. It’ s the same for Moto2™ and Moto3™, before the even more important stuff fires up in the afternoon. For MotoGP™, it’ s a 60-minute session to decide the top ten, who move through automatically to Q2 qualifying on Saturday morning. Those who don’ t make the cut get a second chance to move through in Q1, where the top two will join the already selected ten for the pole position shootout. So Practice is a big finish to Friday.
Moto2™ and Moto3™ follow the same format as MotoGP™, with Friday afternoon’ s Practice session deciding the top 14 who are automatically in Q2. VENERDÌ
Il venerdì è il giorno in cui accederai in circuito per prendere il tuo posto, oppure per andare a caccia del migliore. Via all’ azione in pista con le prove libere, che nel mattinata permettono ai piloti di prendere le misure con il tracciato e le condizioni della pista, nonché avere indicazioni sugli equilibri. Succede sia per la MotoGP che per le classi Moto2™ e Moto3™. Nel pomeriggio una sessione di 60 minuti garantisce ai primi dieci della classe regina l’ accesso diretto alla Q2 del sabato mattina. Chi resta fuori affronta la Q1, dalla quale i primi due vengono promossi e si giocano la pole position nella Q2 insieme ai dieci migliori del venerdì pomeriggio. Le due sessioni, Q1 e Q2, durano 15 minuti ciascuna.
MotoGP™, con la sesión Practice de la tarde del viernes decidiendo los 14 primeros que pasarán automáticamente a la Q2. El resto estará en la Q1.
