“ Well, the biggest issue for me was to find consistency in feeling from the front,” he said.“ And with all the‘ tries’ that we ' ve made, the front was feeling good, so it ' s already a good improvement.”
Not the Italian is looking ahead to a final run of races which could see him scoring a personal best MotoGP finish. The goal is to better last year’ s effort of sixth place.
“ I want to try. That’ s the goal of the season. I could be without ambition or without purpose if I come here saying I want to finish fifth every race. I want to try to win. I want to try to be as close as possible with Marc( Marquez), who’ s the world champion, to Bez( Marco Bezzecchi), and Jorge( Martin) too. I want to be one of those guys winning races. I’ m working with the team literally day and night. A lot of meetings we are making. The goal is to make a big season.
