“ I ' m super happy,” he said.“ I think I ' m in the right place to show this. It ' s a mix of things, like for sure knowing the same staff for two years, and then for sure the bike is helping us a lot, because the bike this year is much more predictable. So, these are two things together that makes me be more confident, and then I can work much more on myself.”
After a run of impressive results, is he dreaming of winning this year’ s MotoGP™ title?“ For sure the goal of this season for me was to try to reach this kind of title,” he said.“ I think I have a great opportunity this year with a great team, great bike. I’ m giving it all to try to be that competitive, to be a title contender. I think I’ ve done a good job. Not a great, great job because we are( are not first) at the moment but we are doing a good job.
“ We tried be as close as possible to the Aprilias. I just want to continue working. I think also it’ s a bit early to make some sentences about this season. But for sure we show an amazing level at all the tracks that we’ ve been to until now. The goal is to continue like this.” vagyok ahhoz, hogy ezt megmutassam. Az erős eredmények után vajon már a MotoGP™ világbajnoki címéről álmodik? „ Egyértelműen az volt az idei szezonra a célom, hogy megpróbáljak harcban lenni a címért” – mondta. „ Úgy érzem, fantasztikus lehetőséget kaptam idén egy nagyszerű csapattal és egy kiváló motorral. Mindent beleadok, hogy versenyképes legyek, és bajnoki címért küzdhessek. Szerintem jó munkát végeztem. Nem tökéleteset, hiszen jelenleg nem mi vezetjük a bajnokságot, de nagyon jó úton járunk.
„ Megpróbáltunk a lehető legközelebb kerülni az Apriliákhoz. Én csak tovább akarok dolgozni. Azt hiszem még egy kicsit korai messzemenő következtetéseket levonni a jelenlegi szezonról, az viszont biztos, hogy eddig nagyszerű teljesítményt nyújtottunk minden pályán. A cél az, hogy ezt folytassuk.”
