In terms of the competitors, reigning Champion Hector Garzo returns with Dynavolt Intact GP, 2023 champion Mattia Casadei is back with the LCR E-Team, and former Cup winners Jordi Torres( Aspar Team) and Matteo Ferrari( Felo Gresini MotoE) also return. They’ re joined by the likes of perennial frontrunner Eric Granado( LCR E-Team) from Brazil and 2024’ s revelation Oscar Gutierrez at MSI … as well as some interesting rookies like Moto2™ race winner Lorenzo Baldassarri( Dynavolt Intact GP).
Wat de concurrenten betreft, keert regerend kampioen Hector Garzo terug met Dynavolt Intact GP, 2023-kampioen Mattia Casadei is terug met het LCR E-Team, en voormalige bekerwinnaars Jordi Torres( Aspar Team) en Matteo Ferrari( Felo Gresini MotoE) zijn ook weer van de partij. Ze krijgen gezelschap van vaste koploper Eric Granado( LCR E-Team) uit Brazilië en de verrassing van 2024 Oscar Gutierrez bij MSI. Bovendien kun je een paar interessante rookies zien zoals Moto2™-racewinnaar Lorenzo Baldassari( Dynavolt Intact GP).
TT Circuit Assen
There’ s also a new track debuting this year as MotoE goes to Hungary for the first time. The season is set to be a stunner and runs longer than any before: the world-famous Le Mans kicks us off before the classic TT Circuit Assen, then it’ s a trip to the modern classic of the Red Bull Ring. From there, that debut trip to Hungary beckons for Round 4 at Balaton Park.
Er is ook een nieuw circuit waar MotoE dit jaar voor het eerst heengaat, namelijk Hongarije. Het belooft een geweldig seizoen te worden dat langer doorloopt dan ooit eerder: we trappen af op het wereldberoemde Le Mans vóór het legendarische TT Circuit Assen. Dan reizen we naar de modern klassieke Red Bull Ring. Daarop volgt het debuut in Hongarije voor ronde 4 op Balaton Park.
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli host next before a different venue for the 2025 curtain closer: the fantastic Autodromo Internacional do Algarve. That means competition concludes near the end of the MotoGP season too, creating a wellpaced championship for the electric competitors.
The venues on the 2025 calendar have also been chosen with a focus on the maximum proportion of renewable energy they can provide from their facilities, perfectly matching the philosophy of MotoE: contributing to our global goals to cut emissions and drive electric innovation wherever it’ s most viable. As well as, of course, delivering some incredible racing. Don’ t miss it!
Het Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya en Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli hosten de volgende races voordat we het seizoen van 2025 afsluiten op een andere locatie: het fantastische Autodromo Internacional do Algarve. Dat betekent dat de competitie wordt afgerond op een moment dat ook het einde van het MotoGP-seizoen nadert, wat zorgt voor een goed getimed kampioenschap voor de deelnemers op elektrische motoren.
De locaties op de kalender van 2025 zijn ook gekozen met aandacht voor het maximumaandeel hernieuwbare energie dat ze kunnen leveren met hun faciliteiten, wat perfect aansluit bij de filosofie van MotoE: bijdragen aan onze mondiale doelen om uitstoot te verminderen en elektrische innovatie te stimuleren waar dat het meest levensvatbaar is. Net als zorgen voor fantastische races natuurlijk. Mis het niet!
