You’re
B
NOT Who You Used to Be…
Be Who you ARE!
eing a mother is quite possibly one of life’s greatest blessings. Mentally, you know that it is, but sometimes when you’re completely
indulged in the task you forget about how blessed you are. It’s an enormously overwhelming job that not many women are willing to do. If you’re brave
enough to lye down and take in the pleasure that created the child, I encourage you to stand up and take the responsibility of raising them as well. I’m writing
this article, not to tear you down, but rather to encourage you and lift you up.
Often times I’ve seen women, including
myself, work so hard at being a mom that
in the process we forget sometimes who
we are. Don’t get it confused with who
you were. Once you become a mother, truth is you are no longer who you
were. You become this new woman you never even knew existed. When you
take on the task, you realize at some point (usually around that 3 a.m hr after
being awakened repeatedly every other hour) that you’re stronger than you
thought you were, you’re more coordinated, you’re patient, you’re loving and
even more compassionate than you ever really knew. You realize that you
possess a greater strength of endurance than you ever thought you would.
