We talked to Amy about her eating habits, “I
go through phases where I’m strict with my diet
and then other times I’m very lenient.” She follows
a low carb, low sugar plan, eating mainly lean
protein and lots of fruits and vegetables. She does
not eat a lot of dairy or processed foods. “I’m
not a big supplement person, but I do take Sibu
Omega 7 capsules, they are great for your hair,
skin and nails.”
lways generous with her time and looking
to give back, she supports a host of
charities, from the ALS Association, the
Art of Elysium, The Thirst Project and most recently,
Dare 4 Charity. This unique charity is a way to
raise money in a fun way. “They were looking for
someone to take a challenge that had a passion for
children’s charities and that all appealed to me.”
Banding together with Tracy Evens, a three-time
Olympian and National Champion, they raised over
$10,000. As a result of their great efforts, the actor
sledded down the Olympic bobsled course in Park
City Utah! The exhilarating ride of her life allowed
her to help an amazing group of kids in Rwanda.
Time well spent.
Amy is married to fellow actor Drew Seeley.
After living in LA for one week, they were both
working for a promotion modeling company called
Encore Nationwide. Getting staffed on the same
job, they met every day to demonstrate the benefits
of using one of the company’s products. After
flirting for the week, they went out on a group get
together and eventually a real date. The couple
married two years now, resides in Los Angeles with
their dog Astro.
With a love for travel, the actors can’t seem to
stay in LA. Amy also loves to cook, often inviting
two couples for dinner parties. Happy hour with >>>
