We talked to the comedian about her personal
fitness routine and how it has become a pivotal
lifestyle choice. Always an athlete, she played
almost every sport as a kid: soccer, basketball,
volleyball and gymnastics that turned into
cheerleading. “I’m very adventurous, and I like rock
climbing and hiking, so I guess you could say I’ve
always had a passion for fitness.”
Amy plans to run a half marathon with her
husband, Drew Seeley next year for their three-year
wedding anniversary. She also hopes to participate
in a triathlon this year. She trains daily with Alex
Ingram at Gameface Fitness. Alex likes to change
up her workouts, doing heavier weights for legs but
not a lot on top, with a focus on yoga to make the
muscles lean. “I’m so athletic, I have a tendency to
get a little bulky, and I love doing gymnastic based
workouts that utilize body weight.”
