Swanville Lions’ Mid-Summer Carnival
The Swanville Midsummer Carnival has been a tradition in Morrison County for more than a half century and has been dubbed“ The Grand Daddy of Central Minnesota Festivals.” This three-day event is designed to cater to all ages.
The Swanville Lions are excited to present the 2026 carnival, set for July 10 – 12 in Swanville. Come for the rides, stay for the chicken dinner.
Festivities begin Friday at 5 p. m., when the Swanville Lions start serving their famous barbecue chicken, available all weekend. The midway, featuring carnival rides along with a variety of food and beverages, opens at 6 p. m. The air-conditioned bingo hall opens at 7 p. m.
Live music lineup: Friday, Paul Jensen performs from 5 – 8 p. m., followed by Slamabama from 9 p. m. to 12:30 a. m.
Saturday, the midway, chicken shack, bingo hall and beer garden open at 3 p. m.
Live music lineup: Robb Justice and Riley Gutormson perform from 5 – 8 p. m., followed by Mason Dixon Line from 9 p. m. to 12:30 a. m.
Sunday features a parade at 11:30 a. m., with the midway, chicken shack and beer garden opening at noon. The bingo hall opens at 1 p. m.
Live music lineup: Hilery performs from 2 – 6 p. m., followed by Lyzander from 6 – 10 p. m.
Advanced midway tickets will be available at area businesses closer to the event. Free primitive camping is also available.
