Walkin’ Wings: Walk, talk and eat wings
The Walking’ Wings event is put on to complement the Oktoberfest celebration.
This year’ s event will be the fourth annual and will be held on Saturday, Aug. 29, one day before the Oktoberfest.
The proceeds from the Walkin’ Wings event for the next three years will go toward the Veterans Memorial Plan to upgrade Billig Park in Pierz.
There will be competitors set up along Main Street, which allows guests to walk, talk and eat wings from 3 p. m. to 7 p. m. Tickets are $ 1 per wing.
There are activities for the whole family, bounce houses, a beer garden and live music. The live music is from 3 p. m. to 9 p. m. Toward the end of the evening, there will be an awards ceremony to announce the winners and the people’ s choice award at 7:30 p. m.

A separate barbeque event, a Minnesota Masters BBQ sanctioned event, will be held in the St. Joseph’ s Catholic Church parking lot.

Fabulous music at 2026 Freedom Fest
Freedom Fest is once again bringing back two unforgettable days of country music to Little Falls, July 17-18. This year, on Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18, LoCash, Scotty McCreery, Uncle Kracker, Tyler Farr, Allie Colleen, Face for Radio, Zach John King, and Cori Kennedy.
In addition to fabulous music and great camaraderie, guests can enjoy a variety of food and beverages. Various vendors will be onsite selling their wares. Guests can enjoy camping onsite within walking distance to the shows, all conveniently located at the Morrison County Fairgrounds, 15575 Hawthorn Road, Little Falls. Gates for the event open at 3 p. m.
Lineup for Friday, July 17 includes LoCash, Uncle Kracker and Allie Colleen, and for Saturday, July 18, Scotty McCreery, Tyler Farr, Zach John King and Cori Kennedy.
