Walkin’ Wings: Walk, talk, and eat wings
The Walkin’ Wings event is put on to complement the Oktoberfest celebration.
This year’ s event will be the 3rd annual, and will be held on Saturday, Aug. 23, one day before the Oktoberfest event.
This year, Walkin’ Wings is honored to support the Pierz First Response Team.
There will be competitors set up along Main Street, which allows guests to walk, talk and eat wings! Tickets are $ 1 per wing. There are activities for the whole family,
bounce houses, a beer garden and live music. The live music is from 3 p. m.- 9 p. m. Toward the end of the evening, there will be an awards ceremony to announce the winners and the people’ s choice award.

A separate BBQ event, a MN Masters BBQ sanctioned event, will be held in the St. Joseph’ s Catholic Church parking lot.
