The star of the show, however, is the
transmission. Rarely are shifts
abrupt. Downshifts are perfectly
smooth. The car will slow down during
downshifts, but the jerking sensation is
nowhere to be found. When cruising,
should the driver choose to give the
throttle a moderate push, the engine shifts
appropriately, and most importantly,
quickly.
As I said, this car gave me a good
standard of what flagship luxury sedans
are like. It is not the most impressive of
vehicles, but it is an overall nice
package. But something tells me that the
D3 or D4 Audi S8s are nicer. Well, of
course they would be. Do I have work to
do?
