They must be positive. We’re
working towards building
foundations for future successes;
not tearing ourselves down. Simply
repeating negative truths only

schools of thought when it comes
to Affirmations:
Absolutes use action-packed “I”
statements, which are definitive
and declarative. Be passionate
about your thoughts:
•
I am a good person!
•
I am LOVE!
•
I am having the BEST day ever!
I am BEAUTIFUL!
•
I am a Superstar!
•
I am grateful!
If you’re having trouble and
•
I want to be a good person.
•
I want to be LOVE.
•
I am working on having the
best day ever.
•
I want to accept that I am
beautiful.
•
I want to be a Superstar.
•
I desire to be grateful.
When you’re working to change
how your thought process works,
Training Wheel statements
acknowledge that you are in the
process of “doing” and making your
intention happen.
And remember, you need to
keep your affirmations front
and center and look at them
repeatedly. You’re not going to
work through a lifetime of bad
habits, inappropriate choices and
negative self-esteem programming
overnight. It’s going to take time
for your external life to mirror your
subconscious longings.
Getting started is the hard part,
but persistence is key. If you’re
serious about transforming and
shifting your self-talk, keep at it.
There may be early successes as
you push forward, but be prepared
to keep at it for the long haul.
