flame and direct it towards a specific purpose?
What happens to most of us is that we become distracted. Left on its
own, with nothing to nurture or support it, your fire is eventually just
going to self-extinguish. This can happen one of two ways – dying out
because it’s run out of fuel, or it can rage, becoming dangerous and wild
– burning up everything in its path until it exhausts itself – sort of like
scorched earth, taking no prisoners.
Think about it for a minute, which one do you more closely identify with?
So, if you’re making excuses, you’re just setting yourself up. Most
importantly, stop playing the innocent ingénue, and let go of the fear
and ego that’s standing in the way. Wake up to the fact that you – Y-O-U –
control your destiny.
What you want is still available to you, but you have to be willing to reignite your own spark, and do the work to make sure your personal FIRE is
transformative, rather than out of control and destructive.
You have to aim for living confidently, loving passionately and complete
freedom:
It’s having the ability to make conscious and confident decisions and the
focus to follow-through and make course corrections when necessary.
It’s about experience everything life has to offer as fully as possible on
your own terms.
It’s about valuing yourself as highly as the relationships you are involved
in.
It’s about ensuring your decisions service your highest moral and ethical
purpose and standing in allegiance to know one but yourself.
No matter your current circumstances, and no matter the status… none of
it matters.
Like a phoenix, you must be prepared to rise from the ashes to soar high.
If you want to live the life you’ve been dreaming of, you’ve got to let go
of fear and start focusing on the journey ahead and moving forward. You
can’t be afraid of where the journey leads.
