sprouts from chaos
So, I decided to take a few minutes, loosening the earth around the new
sprout. Fortunately, it was a nice enough day that I could spend the time
outdoors without worrying about the chill air. Digging deeper, churning the
near-frozen earth, I keep finding new strength and abilities that had been
hidden away for some time. Long forgotten, they reminded me of the
lessons learned and the work I’ve undertaken to get here. My realization?
I, too, have roots which run as deep as the plant I now seek to nurture.
I am grateful for the opportunities for growth that come in those quiet
moments. I am thankful for knowing I will continue to grow in new ways.
The lesson is not to turn tail and run, even when life becomes difficult
and/or uncertain. Rather, stand your ground, sink your roots deep into
Mother Earth and let her provide sustenance and nurture during the
difficult periods. You will be amazed at how resilient you are and how
much easier it will be to navigate life with all its unexpected ups and
downs.
Much love and blessings to you! May you encounter many opportunities for
gratitude and growth!
