I moved to Kent, Ohio, partly for a relationship which seems to continue to
blossom. It’s coming along just right, slowly and allowing the bud to bloom and
blossom in its own time.
However, things have been a little tough since I moved here. I moved believing
there was a part-time job waiting for me. Unfortunately, that fell through, so
I’ve been relying on a half-built business and whatever else that shows up. I am
grateful that there have been odd jobs and cleaning opportunities here and there
which have helped plug some of the gaps.
I know it’s been slow and there have been some things I built up before moving
here have fallen by the wayside - for now at least. Recently there seems to
be a growing light at the end of the tunnel. Doors have started opening for my
business and I have some steady monthly work starting that excites me.
“Don’t be afraid”…
I’m on Neale Donald Walsh’s (Conservations with God) email list. He sends out
messages each day “God wants you to know...” Apparently, God wanted me to
know when there is light at the end of the tunnel that I don’t need to dig more
tunnels.
These words serve as reminders for me to stay in the moment. I choose to focus
