A chat with the outgoing St. Michael Royal Court

The 2025-26 St. Michael Royalty Court experience is winding down for the outgoing Royalty Court: Miss St. Michael Robyn Beck, Princess Faith Krajsa, Princess Naomi Cheney, Little Miss Kennedy Nagan and Little Miss Cecilia Gauthe.
Marked by unforgettable experiences, St. Michael has a royalty program that fosters lasting connections and contributions to the community through seasonal celebrations, fundraisers and community dinners.
Like previous years, the current Royalty Court and royalty candidates will be hosting several events at the St. Michael Daze & Knights Festival.
The first is the St. Michael Queen’ s Ball, 8-10 p. m. on Thursday, Aug. 6 at BK Tap Haus, 21 Main Street South, St. Michael. The evening will be a night of music, dancing and fun for ages 6-17 to celebrate St. Michael’ s own queen, Miss St. Michael Robyn Beck. Tickets are $ 10 per child / teen and can be purchased at the door the night of the event. One parent chaperone attends the ball free of charge.
A ticketed kick-off dinner will be hosted prior to the ball.

School. She enjoys music and sings in the STMA. She also manages the boys swim and dive team. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in pediatric nursing.
What inspired you to run for royalty?
Watching the previous Royal Court members create lasting friendships while sharing their passion for serving the community inspired me to run for royalty. Seeing the meaningful connections they built and the positive experiences they had encouraged me to become part of the tradition.
What lessons have you learned from the program?
Through this experience, I developed stronger time management skills and significantly improved my public speaking and communication abilities. These experiences have helped me grow both personally and as a leader.
Do you have any advice to the future members of the royal court?
Don ' t take this opportunity for granted, because the year truly goes by faster than you expect! Embrace each experience, live in the moment, and most importantly, have so much fun!

What inspired you to run for royalty?
I was inspired to run for royalty for a variety of reasons. The major one came from the royalty members I admired while attending parades as a kid. Growing up, I participated in parades with my dad through the Knights of Columbus, and it was always my favorite part of the summer. I loved seeing the royalty’ s fancy floats and sparkly crowns. I remember how much I looked up to them and I wanted an opportunity to be a good role model for the next generation.
What lessons have you learned from the program?
I have learned many valuable lessons throughout this program, both
Miss St. Michael Robyn Beck
about myself and about others. Two of the most meaningful lessons I will carry with me are that embarrassment is often just a mindset, and that it is important to be unapologetically yourself.
Do you have any advice to the future members of the royal court?
My advice to the next court is to get ready for a whirlwind of a year. Always remember that the judges chose you for a reason. Try to make it to every event that you can, build meaningful connections, be flexible, and don’ t be afraid to be yourself.
