St. Michael Daze & Knights Festival offers family-friendly fun on Friday, Aug. 7 and Saturday, Aug. 8.
The St. Michael Royalty candidates will offer fun fair hair near the Family Bingo area starting at 5 p. m. on Aug. 7. The fair hair will be a freewill donation.
Also starting at 5 p. m., there will be Family Bingo hosted by Family Youth Community Connections on the lawn of Town Center Park. There will be an assortment of prizes available if you get a bingo.
Bingo starts at 5 p. m., but come early to reserve a spot. Bring a blanket or chair as bingo will be on the lawn. All ages welcome- bring your grandparents, too!
Those ready for an athletic challenge may consider the 5K or youth fun run on Saturday morning.
The runs will begin at St. Michael Town Center, 11800 Town Center Drive. The 5K starts at 8 a. m. and will be a chip-timed race. The 5K will still be open to all experience levels, from competitive runners to those pushing strollers or being pulled by dogs( teams and themes welcome).
The half-mile kids color run begins at 9 a. m. Preregistration is available online at stmdazeandknightsfestival. com. The event is sponsored by Nicolet National Bank, Allina Clinic, B & D Plumbing and Millennium Dance Company.
Starting at 9:30 a. m., children will be encouraged to use their imaginations during the Chalk Walk, and the sidewalks in front of City Hall as their canvas.
The Chalk Walk is sponsored by the St. Michael-Albertville-Hanover Friends of the Library.
Back this year, the River Valley Pedal Tractor Pull will begin at 10 a. m. Registration starts at 9:30 a. m.
Little ones can also hunt for treasure, coins and other fun items during the Sawdust Pile Treasure Hunt. The treasure hunt begins at 10:45 a. m. This event is sponsored by Wind and Wood Farms and Deerwood Bank. Participa-
