Valedictorians have their sights set on the future
Top students in Class of 2025 share plans following high school, including colleges, majors
Shayne Beucler
I will be attending Mankato State University, majoring in nursing. I want to be able to help others with my passion for the medical field and I look up to my mom, who is a RN.
McKenna Biegler
I am attending the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. I am majoring in biology on the preveterinary track. I picked this major because I am passionate about helping animals and making a difference in families that consider their pets to be a part of their family. While studying, I will be swimming on the women’ s swim team.
Allison Chaffins
I will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison, majoring in kinesiology, with a career goal of physical therapy.
Danica Cristobal
I plan on continuing my education at St. Cloud State University. I will be majoring in nursing because I enjoy supporting and helping others.
Summer Derby
After high school, I will be attending the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse to major in psychology and minor in neuroscience and hopefully Spanish as well.
Jaymon Dietel
After high school, I plan on attending Minnesota State University Mankato. I plan to major in construction management. In my future, I would love to own my own construction business.
Tyler Grue
I will be attending the University of North Dakota for commercial aviation to pursue a career in the airlines.

Josie Johnson
I will be attending the College of Saint Benedict in St. Joseph and majoring in nursing in the labor and delivery specialty. I want to be a nurse so I can make a difference and help people in need.
Addison Kiphuth
After high school, I will attend college at Wentworth Institute of Technology. I will be majoring in civil engineering and I plan on minoring in project management. I will also be continuing my athletic career by playing lacrosse in college.
Maddie Kocherer
I will be attending Montana State University to study animal science with a focus on equine. I will also be minoring in agricultural business. I have always been involved in the agriculture and equine industries and they have a special place in my heart. I love working with horses and hope to do something with that in the future.
Kathrine Lemke
I will go to Trinity College. I am undecided on what I am going to major in. I will also play hockey and throw for the track and field team at Trinity.
Brayden Rhea
I plan to go to the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and get at least a four-year degree, possibly more. I want to go to the university for a math major because I have always loved the beauty in math and I hope that one day I can be a math professor at a college.
Koen Schlangen
I am planning to attend North Dakota State University to study civil engineering. I like solving problems and I want to make society as safe and efficient as possible.
Hadley Schultz
I will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and will be majoring in nursing. I hope to one day become a pediatric registered nurse. I have always wanted to major in something health care related and help as many people as possible, and I know that nursing is a perfect fit for my personality.
Kaela Skistad
I am attending North Dakota State University. I will be running track there and I am going to be majoring in nursing.
