Valedictorians have their sights set on the future
Top students in Class of 2024 share plans following high school , including colleges , majors
Allison Beilke
I plan to attend the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire to major in marketing with minors in communications and mathematics .
Rylan Feierabend
I will be attending Michigan Technological University studying engineering management . I wanted to combine engineering with business , and MTU has a great program that I am very excited to be a part of .
Natalie Nemeth
After high school , I will be attending the University of St . Thomas . I plan on majoring in something related to business / finance .
Dinah Schaffer
I will be attending University of North Florida and majoring in marketing . I am trying out for the UNF dance team this fall .
Gina Schaffer
I will be attending Daytona State College in Daytona Beach , Fla ., to pursue my education in culinary management . I plan to own a cafe that employs individuals with special needs .
Lauren Moorhouse
After high school , I will be attending Hamline University in St . Paul . I plan to major in psychology , minor in business , and also play lacrosse at the Division III level .
Adrienne Hansen
I will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire , majoring in actuarial science , and playing on the women ’ s hockey team .

Makenna Lutes
I plan to attend The University of Minnesota Twin Cities for the College of Biological Sciences . I will major in genetics and cell biology with a minor in Spanish . I hope to work in cancer biology as an oncologist someday .
Paul Fasen
I will go to South Dakota State University , majoring in mechanical engineering , hoping to work for NASA .
Evan Raske
My plans after high school are to attend Saint John ’ s University . I am considering double majoring in theology and environmental studies . I look forward to learning more about faith and how I can integrate it into the world through my future career .
Bella Vasoli
I will be playing soccer for Michigan Technological University . My current major is human biology in the pre-med program of the honors college .
Sydney Fuller
I am going to attend The University of Minnesota , Duluth next fall . I have declared a major in exercise science and rehabilitation , with a minor in Spanish . After graduation , I hope to continue my education and earn a masters degree in athletic training . I want to help athletes avoid all the injuries I watched my friends go through in high school while providing a healthy environment for all .
Keegan Ellis
I am going to the University of South Florida majoring in biology on the pre-med track .
Jack Geislinger
Next year , I am attending the United States Military Academy at West Point . I am planning on majoring in business with a minor in engineering . Business will provide me with a great allaround degree and engineering is a must at the Academy . I will also be running Division 1 track at West Point . Afterward , I will be entering the U . S . Army to serve my country .
Erin Gilbertson
I plan to attend Winona State University in fall of 2024 to pursue a bachelor of science in nursing . I chose this major because I have always wanted to work as a NICU nurse and be able to help those families that are in need .
Gunnar Simon
I am going to go play junior hockey after high school . After two to three years of juniors , I plan to attend a fouryear school and play collegiate hockey .
Gabriella Cruz-Longley
I will be attending the University of Minnesota-Duluth to study ecology and environmental science . I hope to pursue a career as an environmental scientist to protect the environment for the communities that live in it .
Nicholas Thovson
After high school , I plan to attend the University of Mary in Bismark , N . D ., to study either engineering or nursing . In high school , I have had the privilege of taking several math and science classes , all of which have been of great interest to me . However , with such a diverse interest range choosing one subject of study has been difficult and I have yet to make a definitive decision on a major .
Reagan Wahnschaffe
After high school , I will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison . I will be majoring in biology on the premed track .
