ISD 882 has proud history of education

Monticello School District is led by Superintendent Eric Olson and is home to approximately 4,150 unique , incredible students , and hundreds of passionate educators .
ISD 882 includes five schools — the newest being Eastview Education Center , which opened in 2017 and is home to kindergarten , preschool , ECFE , the Connect 5 transition program and more . There are two elementary schools , one middle school and one high school . These are Pinewood and Little Mountain elementary schools , Monticello Middle School and Monticello High School .
The district is also home to Turning Point Alternative Learning Program , and is a member of the Sherburne and Northern Wright Special Education Cooperative .

The school system also offers Monticello Nature Based Education at the Bertram Chain of Lakes Regional Park for Pre-K , kindergarten , fourth- and fifth-grade students . Nature Based students are immersed in the outdoors each day . Students learn and play outside using their environment to achieve the same learning standards as their peers do in a brick-and-mortar setting .
The district is also home to Monticello Community Education , which offers a wide variety of community programs for people from infancy to senior citizens .
