2014
JANUARY
Upcoming Parent Discussion Opportunity
The Adult Ministry Team is hatching a plan and we need your help to organize this event!
What: Parent discussion opportunity
Title: Creative Communicating for Parents from Infancy to Adulthood
When: Mid-February evening gathering for parents of all ages
Time: Thursday evening or Sunday evening has been suggested. But Sunday morning is another possibility.
Goals: Discussion and learning new skills, fellowship, and applauding the voices of parents
Questions: contact Mary Ann Souers (455-2638) or Nancy Lacina (451-9159)
If you think you would like to participate, watch for a sign up sheet on the Welcome Table in the Narthex (or contact the church office). Check your calendar for meeting times that work for you. We need interested adults to
give their schedule preferences in January, so the Adult Ministry Team can pick dates and times to offer this discussion opportunity. Watch the February Pulse for final gathering times and location.
Personal Care Items
Needed for Homeless
Feed My Starving Children
In mid-January, Service Providers in Steele County will
be having an all-day event for the homeless and those
at risk of becoming homeless. They need personal
care items to give out to participants at the event.
There is a box in the church office labeled “HomelessPersonal Care” in which you can leave the following: shampoo and conditioner, razors, lotion, soap,
deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, body wash, toilet paper, combs, cleaning supplies, etc.
This new year of 2014,
brings new opportunities
to support Feed My Starving Children. Associated
has spots reserved to volunteer at FMSC, in Eagan, MN as follows: Saturday,
March 22, from 2-4pm; and Saturday, May 10, from 2
-4pm. Put these dates on your 2014 calendar, and
join the fun of working with others, helping to feed
children who are in great need. -Mission Ministry Team
Questions? Ask Sandy Greenwood, Parish Nurse. The
deadline is for the items to be dropped off is January
17. Thank you for your generosity to these members of
our community!
