BOOK CLUB
MONTHLY MORNING TEA
Join us the second Tuesday of the month for
a lively and fun discussion. This month we are
reading 'The chant of Jimmie Blacksmith'. Thomas
Keneally's fictionalised account of the 1900 killing
spree of half-Aboriginal Jimmie Governor is a
powerful story of a black man's revenge against an
unjust and intolerant society.
Join us for a cuppa and one of the famous Well
Women’s scones. This is a great opportunity to
find out what’s happening in the centre and to
meet people.
