home THE LIVING IS EASY (Clockwise from top) The center hall colonial’s formal living room is on the left side of the home, and opens onto an office. Hodgson and Qualy added picture moldings to the walls, reupholstered the sofa in a durable fabric, and continued the theme of warm wood tones, grays, whites and beiges. They found the vintage accent chair online and recovered it with a different fabric. The mirror adds a pop of brass. (At right) The family room is an extension of the kitchen, and looks out onto the deck. Roost Interiors designed the leather ottoman. The ample seating, covered in durable fabric, makes entertaining and gathering as a family a breeze. (Above) The mudroom is also part of the bump-out, and leads into the family room.
