OPENING UP TO THE OUTDOORS
Opposite page, significant repairs were made to the porch railings, columns, and the roof, which, according to Premiere’s founder,
Bill Wojtowicz, was “drooping like a banana.” Using rot- and termite-resistant materials, new construction was custom-made to precisely
match the architectural details original to the house. A circular driveway was created and the home’s curb appeal maintained with the addition of a white fence, and graceful landscaping in front of the driveway. Above, Premiere enlarged the passage between the formal living room
and family room, added a third window in the family room, and reconfigured the windows in the dining room to enhance the magnificent
view of New York City. This required creating new baseboards and wood flooring to seamlessly match the original architecture. ➤
