FESTIVE FEASTING
The dining room’s fireplace is situated behind the kitchen fireplace,
and the same stones have been used on the wall to create continu-
ity. The chairs and table, which, with two extra leaves, can seat 20,
are from Restoration Hardware; the arrangements on the tablescape
are from Back to Nature, while the “Dr. Seuss-looking tree near the
window,” says Bridget, comes from Blooms in Hand. (Inset) David
commissioned a San Francisco artist to make the chandelier from
custom-blown glass that was shipped to Montclair and pieced
together by the contractors. (Top) A glass is filled with heart stones
surrounded by battery-operated wires in ribbons. The mini-evergreen
in mercury glass comes from Back to Nature.
