LASTIC OR NOT TO PLASTIC?

If you’ve seen it once you’ve seen it a million times. That “BPA FREE!” label you see on that water bottle or cake container is actually something you should keep in mind when looking for storage containers. BPA is an industrial chemical used in the manufacturing of plastics and has been linked to fertility problems, male impotence, and heart disease (to name a few). So cut out when possible. As for the actual container

used to take with you during the day, I personally go for a Bento box. (sighted on your right) Bento box is a Japanese lunch box that usually has many compartments, which is perfect if you’ll be spending all day away from the nearest kitchen.

ow To Meal Prep

Usually one would prep meals a week in advance. Although this is the case, try not to get too overwhelmed during the

purchasing or preparing process. It's as simple or as complex as you want to make it. The first step is to pick a day of the week that you’ll prep meals for the days following. It usually helps for people to meal prep on the day(s) that they have nothing else to do, like the weekend.

Once you’ve done that you’ll want to pick which meals you’ll want to prepare throughout the week. Here are some meals that might spark your interest:

Breakfast: (Vegan/Regular options)

● Muffins

● Instant oatmeal

● Fruit

● Mini quiche

Lunch: (Vegan/Regular options)

● Honey sriracha glazed meatballs

● Spicy chickpea quinoa bowls
