ere at the SMMC we have several peer mentors who are graduating in May! WhooooHoooo! So Exciting. Congratulations to all of the people graduating. What a big accomplishment. Below we have some tips and advice to help you prepare for graduation in any semester!
Develop & learn new skills
UNT offers a wide variety of workshops that can help students develop new skills that will help them with life after college. Check out Sage Hall that offers workshops such as time management, public speaking, & getting into grad school! Other offices that offer workshops are the SMMC, The Multicultural Center, & the Health and Wellness Center!
UNT Career Center
The UNT Career Center can help you prepare for your life after college by scheduling mock interviews, reviewing and prepping your resume, helping build a cover letter for job applications, help you find employers who are hiring and can also help you prepare for career fairs. This resource is beneficial in helping current seniors or any student prepare for their life after college and ultimately be successful.

Come see us here at The Student Money Management Center, to help you plan for life after college with student loans or just to be able help you with your cost of living expenses after school. We will be able to help students create a uniquely personal plan to tailor to your needs and money situations. We are located in Chestnut Hall Suite 313!
Breathe & Celebrate!
You have crossed the finish line! You are done! Celebrate. Breath, everything will fall into place much sooner, than later. Don’t be so hard on yourself. This is a big accomplishment and you should be proud of yourself for all of yourself for getting this far and representing The University of North Texas Well. Call yourself a UNT ALUM! CONGRATS!!
