Both the old- and new-
school Old Fashioned
cocktails are poured
over special crystal cubes
from California-based
company Ice Bulb.
This oversize ice cube
allows for an elegant
presentation as well as
a lasting libation that
won’t get watered down.

NEW SCHOOL
3 dashes saline solution
2 dashes Bitter Truth peach bitters
4 dashes Peychaud’s
2 ounces Plantation pineapple rum
1/4 ounce passion fruit syrup
OLD SCHOOL
3 dashes Regan’s orange bitters
4 dashes Angostura bitters
1/4 ounce simple syrup
2 ounces Knob Creek rye whiskey
Pour ingredients into a large
mixing glass, over ice and stir.
Strain into an Old Fashioned
glass with an oversize block
ice cube. Sprinkle with orange
zest and garnish with an
orange peel.

the late 1800s as a true
gentleman’s drink.
Our reimagined
version combines
sweet, tropical fl avors
reminiscent of the
resort’s seaside locale
with that renowned
old-school mouthfeel,
making for a libation
that could convert even
the most dedicated
whiskey afi cionados.
DIRECTIONS:
Pour ingredients into a
large mixing glass, over
ice and stir. Strain into
an Old Fashioned glass
with an oversize block
ice cube. Garnish with a
dehydrated orange slice.
