CHAMBER NEWS The Chamber exterior got a facelift with the recent installation of a new LED sign by MAC Signs. Amy V. Hollander CPA recently presented a year-end tax seminar to Chamber members. ArtWorks Gallery & Studio recently donated a mural featuring 19 prominent Scranton landmarks to The Chamber. The mural was designed by ArtWorks art instructors and painted as a collaborative effort from various students with intellectual disabilities and autism. The Chamber was recognized by Karen Musante, incoming president and chief executive offi cer of the Foundation for Free Enterprise Education, for its support of the 2017 Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week. The Chamber recently helped The Wright Center for Primary Care celebrate the grand opening of its new Together in Health clinic inside West Scranton Intermediate School. MetroAction received a $5,000 contribution from Wells Fargo Bank. These funds will be used to support the ongoing lending and technical assistance services provided by MetroAction to small businesses in its nine- county service area. The Chamber recognized John Trombetta, the outgoing president and chief executive offi cer of the Foundation for Free Enterprise Education.
