President’s Message
“N ew Year’s
Resolutions”
With the holidays offi cially behind us, and a fresh New Year ahead, we have some
suggested resolutions you might adopt to make the most out of your Chamber
membership in 2018…
1. Look to do business with your fellow Chamber members. The 2018 Business &
Buyer’s Guide and the Chamber website are sources for vendors that do business
and employ workers right here in our region. Our Member Bonus Benefi ts can also
save you money.
2. Attend at least one Chamber event. The Annual Dinner, the Women’s Leadership
Conference, Member Welcomes, Meet Up for Lunch and other networking events
are great ways to network and establish business relationships with your fellow
members.
3. Take advantage of Chamber marketing and media opportunities. Momentum,
e-blasts, social media platforms, and guest blogs are just some of the means
available for you to spread the word about your goods and services.
4. Use the Chamber team as your primary business support resource. Call, email,
text or stop by our offi ces. Our experienced, professional staff is here to help your
business succeed and grow.
5. Join us in celebrating our landmark 150th Anniversary year! Look for special
programs and events that will recognize the deep and amazing history of the people,
businesses and institutions that represent our legacy of the proud, hardworking,
caring community that we call home.
Here’s hoping 2018 brings success and happiness to all of you.
