FNCB Bank Holds Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
FNCB Bank recently celebrated the grand opening of its new full-
service community office at 360 S. Mountain Blvd. in Mountain
Top. This office is the 17th in the FNCB Bank branch network.
Bedrock Technology Supports Northeast
Regional Cancer Institute
Bedrock Technology recently hosted an electronics recycling
event at the TekRidge Center to raise money in support of the
Northeast Regional Cancer Institute. Households and businesses
with a zip code in northeastern Pennsylvania were encouraged
to recycle their old computers and computer equipment, tablets,
cell phones, audio equipment, video equipment, printers,
microwaves, and other items for a flat fee.
Both Penn State Scranton and Chancellor Marwan A. Wafa
were recently honored as child advocates by the Children’s
Advocacy Center of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Wafa and the
campus received the center’s Distinguished Service Award in
recognition of Penn State Scranton’s Child Maltreatment and
Advocacy minor.
Other child advocate honorees included Deborah Rothenberg,
Wayne County first assistant district attorney; Dr. Mel Wolk
and the Ronald McDonald House of Scranton; and Scranton
Preparatory School senior Lauren Golden.
Community Bank, N.A. recently donated to the Ronald McDonald
House of Scranton to support its mission of providing free-of-
charge support to families of seriously ill or injured children.
