Adil Analytics brings IT jobs to Lackawanna County
For Mani Velaga of Adil Analytics,
locating her business at Jessup’s
TekRidge Center was a no-brainer.
“I was always fascinated by the usage
of information technology in the life
sciences industry,” she said. “Living
in the Lackawanna County area for 15
years, my husband and I have seen
several of our close friends and family
members who have worked in the field
leave the area due to a lack of jobs in
the field during the great recession. I
was driven by the motivation to make
a difference with our knowledge and
expertise and to support the local
community.”
Adil Analytics offers software
development, analytics and maintenance
services, as well as IT managed services,
data center migration to secured
complete-cloud or hybrid-cloud setup,
infrastructure virtualization and DevOps
automation, disaster recovery and
storage management solutions, among
others.
Ms. Velaga and her husband, Kaylan,
discovered that there weren’t many
local information technology companies
that worked with the government in the
fields of application development and
maintenance. This led them to undertake
software development and maintenance
contracts with the government, helping
them to establish jobs locally.
“Our goal has been to develop a job-
ready workforce in the information
technology field by identifying recent
graduates who fit our needs, so we could
give them training in order to meet the
technology needs of these government
contracts,” she said. “We also work with

local colleges and universities to recruit
interns, so they can have hands-on, real-
world experience.”
Through its work with federal and state
customers in application modernization
and digital transformation efforts, Adil

to help its customers
achieve their business
goals.
increase complexity, thereby increasing
operational costs. We offer innovative and
cost-effective software-defined computer,
storage and networking-secured solutions
with end-to-end virtualization and
automation.”
“Our goal is to
expand our local
workforce...”
“Our current and
potential customers
are mostly looking for
highly secured, cost-effective solutions
that will simplify their IT operations
and managed hosting services using
virtualization and automation,” Ms.
Velaga said. “As custom applications
are developed and maintained over the
years, changes in technology trends,
tools, and skilled resource availability
With all of this
experience, Adil
Analytics is now
looking to further its
reach and, as a result,
grow more jobs in
Lackawanna County.
“Our goal is to
expand our local workforce,” Ms. Velaga
said. “We want to reach more commercial,
small and mid-sized businesses that are
looking to cut costs.”
