Fall is approaching as the school year begins, and summer vacations become distant memories. The temperature certainly hasn’ t dropped yet in this Texas town, but it’ s time to start prepping for a new season. Let’ s not forget about an easily overlooked aspect- your hair! Your motto: there’ s no such thing as too many accessories.
Lastly, you’ re favorite 80’ s accessory is back- claw clips. Throw that hair up in a super edgy metallic clip, or go for a more girly / cute vibe and shop for a floral printed clip!
Let’ s face it, living in the south is HOT and humid! You style your hair in the morning only to wear it up in a ponytail by the days’ end. I’ m here to show you some alternatives that will keep you fashionable.
First, the classic bobby pin. Try styling your hair up off the neck and using your natural volume to create a fun updo for the day via bobby-pins. The key is to keep them hidden, creating an elegant look.
Next, add a little style and warmth to your fall ensemble with a scarf or headband. Try wearing your hair down and put the desired accessory on top of your hair( like you would a hat). Then use the hair that’ s left hanging down on your neck to hide some of the headband by pulling it up and tucking it in. It’ s super easy and looks like you put a lot of effort into it!
Don’ t limit yourself, try out these latest trends, but always stick to your personal favs! They are probably your favorite for a reason. Stay hot this season by keeping cool, and using fun new techniques to keep your hair as an asset and not a regret!
