Justin Gripon, age 26 and Sebastian Lofaro, age 25,
have taken voluntering to another level. As this years
chairs for the 2017 League City Music Festival and
BBQ Cook off, and both active members of the League
City Lions Club, both of these young men exemplify
the meaning of giving back to their community.
I had the chance to sit down with them and get to
know their stories and how they came to be the
philanthropists they are today.
Sebastian Lofaro grew up in League City and didn’t
realize his love for his hometown until he went off
to college and felt out of his bubble. He missed his
home and knew he would be back after graduation.
When he did return, he recalls seeing a post on
Facebook from his longtime friend Hank Dugie
stating his intent to run for a city council position in
