With the NASA Johnson Space Center and a wide variety of STEM industries thriving in the Bay Area Houston region, students of the Clear Creek Independent School District are encircled by both the inspiration and resources needed to succeed in their future careers.
Clear Creek ISD places great emphasis on highlyenriched curriculum that focuses on STEM disciplines.
Students at the Ed White Elementary STEM( E-STEM) Magnet School are expected to think critically and solve real-world problems. There is an increased focus on engineering through basic design applications and technology that are infused throughout the entire curriculum. On any given day, one can find first graders designing, building and testing windmills in the engineering lab or fourth graders inventing and programing using the latest tools and materials available in the library Makerspace. Many CCISD campuses have fully immersive Makerspaces which become the creative center of the school.
At the intermediate level, every campus includes Technology Education Labs, funded through the Clear Creek Education Foundation, which focus on Robotics and Audio / Video production. Courses that complement the lab offer students the critical knowledge and skills needed in technology education to compete in the workplace of the 21st century. The fusion promotes exploration, collaboration, innovation, creativity and selfdirection and paves the way for student areas of interest in high school. certified dental assistant. Beginning in the fall of 2018, a Biomedical Engineering program will be offered at Clear Lake High School, however just as for all specialty CTE programs, students from all CCISD high schools may apply to participate in programs not on their home campus.
Clear Creek ISD is also home to the World Champion Robotics Program and the High school students United with NASA to Create Hardware, or HUNCH. Through the HUNCH program, CCISD future engineers have designed and built a workstation and dining table now flying on the International Space Station, as well as storage lockers and a food pantry for the orbiting laboratory.

The latest addition to Clear Creek ISD’ s Career and Technical Education offerings is a Dental Program and Laboratory at Clear Creek High School. The new program paves a path for students interested in one of the 25 top jobs in the country and one of the fast growing occupations. The dental program offers students the chance to explore careers in the dentistry profession and to become a
