Q: As the new City Manager, what will be your top priorities for the first six months, year? A: Furthering the city’s initiatives and helping City Council to define their vision for our future are among my main priorities as I assume the role of city manager. This will include working with City Council and the community to re- affirm our community goals to keep League City great. Throughout the next few months, we will be assessing the organization to determine our strengths and weaknesses. My executive team and I will work together to focus on our communication efforts with the community. We will also be exploring options for a citizen survey of some type to solicit feedback and measure what’s important to League City residents. My other priorities throughout the next several months include promoting our commitment to providing world-class customer service; short and long-term strategic and financial planning; reinvesting in the city’s infrastructure; securing water sources to support the continued growth of our city; and addressing mobility. And, lastly, organizations are only as strong as its people and one of my priorities will be to keep a strong team of employees who know how essential they are to the team. Our city would not be successful without their dedication, creativity, commitment to public service, and hard work. Q: Where do you see League City in five years from an economic development standpoint? And 10 years?
