...mud
On 18 May this year, after a
long lunch with a bit of wine,
our husbands loaded our
three bikes, with much huffing
and puffing, adjustment of
pedals and seats and the
strategic application of some
orange towel to stop the bikes
damaging each other, onto
the back of the “chooner” in
preparation for our trip.

Sedgefield. The “three

Jean “downhill-queen”
Reynolds, were off on a weeklong ‘50
shades of mud’ cycling adventure on the
beautiful garden route.
There had been rain in the area, lots and
lots of rain. We loaded up our bikes the
next morning and presented ourselves
at Barrington Farm, all perky, pretty and
pristine in our riding gear with very clean
bikes (they had been well washed by
the rain on our trip down). I think Rob the
