Healthy Cheeseburger Bowl
Are you craving a big juicy cheeseburger, but your eating plan says hell no? Good news, this recipe has the best of both worlds, healthy and tasty. So get cooking!
Recipe:
For the fries:
• wash and slice potatoes( amount depends on number of bowls you are making)
• drizzle with olive oil and season with seasoned salt / season all
• cook in air fryer at 400 ° for about 15 minutes, flipping halfway through
For the burgers:
• combine 1kg lean beef mince, 1 diced onion, 1 / 2 cup bread crumbs or panko, Italian seasoning, salt & pepper
• shape into equal sized patties and cook for 4-5 minutes per side
For the burger sauce:
• combine 2 tbsp diced onion, 1 / 2 cup mayo, 1 tbsp mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika
Assemble all ingredients into the bowl, adding lettuce, red onion, tomatoes, pickles, cheese, fries, burger patty, and the burger sauce. Enjoy.

Ingredients:
• 2 bananas
• 1 / 4 cup peanut butter
• 3 TBS peanut halves, crushed
• 1 / 4 cup chocolate chips, melted
• optional: 1 / 4 tsp coconut oil for melting
• optional: flakey salt for topping
Directions:
• cut a banana in half, then each piece in half lengthwise, creating 4 banana slices, do this to both bananas so you end up with 8
• add banana slices to a parchmentlined plate or tray
• spread peanut butter on each slice of banana
• top with crushed peanuts
• In a microwave-safe bowl, add the chocolate chips and coconut oil and melt for increments of 15 seconds, stirring in between until melted
• drizzle chocolate on top of bananas and freeze for at least an hour
• top with flaky salt and enjoy

We were skeptical but wow oh wow, this simple and delicious recipe is now a firm favourite in the Modern Athlete household. Super easy and quick to make, it’ s one to pin in your recipe folder.
Recipe:
• 1 ripe banana
• 1 egg
• 50g Oats
Method: Mash banana, combine with egg and oats into a bowl and mix well. Drizzle oil into a pan, heat and pour your mixture in, flattening it out like a pancake. Cook on a medium heat for three minutes. Once golden on one side, break up the mixture, and mix like you would scrambled eggs, mixing while cooking. Keep cooking for another two to three minutes until golden brown. Best served with yogurt and berries.
