South African Athletes doing well on the World Stage
Middle Distance PBs

Fresh from winning the SA Cross Country
Champs 12km title on 13 September in George,
Stephen Mokoka followed that up by winning
the Sanlam Cape Town Peace Run 10km on 21
September in 28:44, the fastest time this year
by a South African. Then on 5 October he won
the Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run Half
Marathon in Glasgow in 1:01:25, outkicking a
trio of Kenyans for the win. (He also holds the
fastest 21.1km SA time of the year, having run
1:00:47 at the World !
