partner of the Comrades Marathon, and the 90th running of
the world’s biggest ultra-marathon looks set to be one of the
best yet, with an exciting race campaign and massive record

O

n Sunday 31 May 2015, the iconic
Comrades Marathon will start for the 90th
time since it was first run in 1921, and with
it being a special year for the race, the entry
cap has been extended from 18,000 to 23,000.
Being an ‘up-run’ in 2015, the race will start
at the Durban City Hall at 5:30am and end
12 hours later at the Oval Cricket Stadium in
Pietermaritzburg, covering a distance of 87km.
