The Gauteng Marathon boasts an impressive, fast route through Mogale City and Johannesburg, and with 4 500 entries this year, the race almost doubled in size from 2012. Despite a few organisational hiccups on race day, it was a big payday for the winners as well as a great outing for ?rst-time marathoners.
