The Experience : The Mother City ’ s notorious South-Easter wind made its presence felt during the eighth edition of the Absa RUN YOUR CITY CAPE TOWN 10K , but it couldn ’ t completely blow away the vibe and fun atmosphere of this hugely popular event , nor could it ruin that ‘ Kodak Moment ’ as the runners lined up near Woodbridge Island in Milnerton to get ready to run back into the city centre . Once the gun was fired , thousands of runners in their Absa race tee set off to paint the city red and enjoy all the entertainment along the route . More on the race on page 28 of this edition .
