The Experience : The second race in the Absa RUN YOUR CITY Series provided fireworks from start to finish on Sunday 10 July . “ We could not have asked for a better turnout ,” says Michael Meyer , Managing Director of the organisers , Stillwater Sports , and founder of the Series . “ An SA Women ’ s All-comers Record , five sub-28-minute clockings and the first South African to break the 28-minute barrier here at home . Add to that the thousands of Durbanites who ‘ painted the city red ,’ and the Absa RUN YOUR CITY DURBAN 10K was a big boost to road running in the city and in South Africa .”
