Time for a
GALLOP!
G
allopers Athletic Club is situated
in the confines of Phumula and
Leondale, in the Germiston area
of Gauteng, and was established in
2011. The aim of the club is to
bring rapid change in people’s
lives and give them a
sense of healthy living
through sports, and
to help young talented athletes to reach their full potential.
The club is involved across the spectrum of road
running, track & field, cross country and trail running,
accommodating both elite and social runners, and
works with members to set realistic goals and then
supports them to reach these goals.
branches in Dunkeld and Bedfordview, or at Laerskool Leondale and the
Central Gauteng Athletics offices.
This year we will time the event electronically using the innovative
UltimateLive product managed by Peak Timing. You do not
have to wear your ChampionChip, but your race number
must be clearly attached to the front of your running top,
as it will be used in the timing process.
The club will once again host the K-Way Gallopers
15km & 5km event on 18 March 2018, and online
entries are available at www.championchip.co.za,
while manual entries can be done at The Sweat Shop
The relatively flat course will allow runners to post a
personal best for the 15km and an easy run for the
5km run/walk. Every finisher will receive a medal
and cash prizes are on offer for the Top 5 in the
main event. We will also have numerous lucky draw
prizes, so stay for prize-giving and keep your race
number handy. Come join us for an epic dash of fun,
interaction and running!
