MARATHON PARIS MARATHON R 18 500 pps Ex JNB from Valid from 05 - 09 April 2018 The 2018 Paris Marathon will take place on Sunday 8 April 2018. This journey will start on one of the world’s most famous streets, Les Champs Elysées and then take you on a truly memorable journey through the City of Lights. This international city marathon attracts over 40,000 runners each year. The Paris Marathon was established in 1977 during the beginning of a craze for big city international marathons. Paris hosts one of the largest and most popular events of its kind in Europe, thanks to the lure of the romantic city and an abundance of stunning architecture. ITINERARY Sunday, 8 April 2018: Thursday, 5 April 2018: Today is the day of the 2018 Schneider Electric Paris Marathon. You will be escorted to the start of the Marathon. You will have a phenomenal day out running in the city of light before returning to your hotel after the finish. This evening you are free to celebrate at one of the many restaurants close to the hotel or a bit further afield. Depart from Johannesburg International Airport to Paris. Friday, 6 April 2018: On arrival make your own way to your chosen hotel. Our running representatives will be at the hotel should you require any assistance today. Saturday, 7 April 2018: After breakfast, please make your way to the registration and EXPO at the Porte Versailles EXPO centre. This is easy to get to by Metro from the hotels. Alternatively our running guide will provide an escorted trip to the expo so you are welcome to join them.
