CG - CLUB OF GENTS
Med kollektionen til forår/sommer 2021 flyver CG - CLUB of
GENTS os over Atlanterhavet til hjertet af Los Angeles.
The CG - CLUB of GENTS spring/summer collection of 2021
whisks us across the Atlantic into the heart of Los Angeles.

Sommeren står lige for døren, og vi længes efter eventyr i
udlandet. Med den nye kollektion fra CG - CLUB of GENTS
lokkes vi direkte ind i en rock 'n' roll-stemning, og vi kan
næsten føle pulsen af de svingende 1960’ere. Også den
delvist ødelagte by er fuld af ny inspiration. Kollektionen
formidler følelsen af frihed, af at være klar til action og
til at leve livet fuldt ud. Scenen er sat på hotellet, hvor
man nyder en kølig drink ved poolen, hvorefter byen skal
opleves og udforskes.
NATURLIGE, DÆMPEDE FARVER
Mens livet i en beach town som L.A. konstant pulserer
og råber på opmærksomhed, er der også en anden side
af byen med mere kant. CG - CLUB of GENTS positionerer
sig meget stille og roligt foran byens larmende tapet,
som et jordnært brand, der denne sæson har fokus på naturlige
farver, herunder masser af jordtoner såvel som byens
nuancer, og med oliven og orange som let kontrast.
Mange af sæsonens mønstre i form af primært tern og
striber er så små, at produkterne ved første øjekast nærmest
ser ensfarvede ud. Lærredsbukser - og lette materialeblandinger,
hvor lærred indgår - understreger farvernes
naturlighed og lethed.
SUMMARY
Summer is on the doorstep and our feet are beginning
to itch for foreign climes. The setting of the new CG -
CLUB of GENTS collection entices us ever deeper into a
life of rock‘n‘ roll, as we can almost feel the beat of the
Swinging Sixties. And so, especially as Mods with Brit
Pop in our hearts, the partly wrecked city appears to us
to be full of new inspiration. We are free and ready for
action, we want to grab life and everything it has to offer
and make it our own. Once at the hotel we enjoy a cool
drink by the pool, but then head off to explore the city.
While life in a beach town pulsates and screams for attention,
the backdrop is loud and edgy; the fashion of
CG - CLUB of GENTS positions itself very quietly and
calmly in front of it. We are down to earth: organic, natural
colours, lots of earth tones as well as natural city
shades - all very urban - are lightly contrasted with a
little olive and orange. And the patterns - lots of checks
and stripes - patterns are smaller and therefore at first
glance almost look as if they are made up of a single
colour.
Linen and light linen mixes underline the naturalness
and the lightness of the colours.
