Forests of the World
Volunteers are the base of Greenpeace and
they contribute to many aspects, including
working at the front lines and through
protests.
Greenpeace is also using politics to
save the forests. They get the governments
to make laws that keep companies from
destroying large amounts of rainforest and
they use protests and consumer boycotts to
get major consumer companies to
establish no deforestation policies. They
have already used some American laws like the Wilderness Act or the Lacey Act to get
companies to stop cutting down forests and stop illegally cutting wood.(greenpeace) Skar
