you ’ll need a thick, waterproof or
smudgeproof concealer. Apply
the concealer in thin layers using
your finger, a dense sponge or a
concealer brush and powder in
between each take. Sometimes, it ’s
easier and faster to use a powder
that matches your skin tone. (Mineral
powders work ver y well here).

Realism
Once you ’ve achieved the coverage
you want, it ’s time to add back the
realism and detail of your skin. For this,
you ’ll want a concealer that ’s about
two shades darker or that matches any
freckles you may have. It ’s best to use a
tone that ’s more red or pink when adding in capillaries. Stipple or dab the
colour on using a stipple brush like the
MAC 187 Duo Fibre Face Brus h.
