In
the beginning
In the beginning, well the
beginning of my career that
is, there was no social media.
Facebook was just catching on
and ever yone was still using MSN
Messenger and MySpace. There
was no Instagram, smartphones
weren’t a thing, and our website
was some crappy HTML site that
took me forever to build.
Then life got a lot quicker. We all
became more connected and my
work began to t a ke m e o u t i n t o
t h e w o r l d. A l o t o f g o o d c a m e
o u t o f t h a t f o r m e. I w a s a b l e
to get the message out about
m y w o r k t o m a n y m o r e p e o p l e.
But all of that success also
c a m e w i t h a n a n n o y a n c e: t h e
s o c i a l m e d i a p o l i c e.
