ly my words can affect them. I try to listen
more to the others’ feelings and not always
live in my own little world. And to tell you
the truth, caring was my medicine. Once
you are willing to open yourself up to other
people, you’ll understand that their struggles
are in many ways similar to yours and you
stop feeling misunderstood and alone all the
time.
I know I’ll never be the same person again,
that what happened in that bathroom will
never fade from my memory, but it really
helped me to stop underestimating my pain
and to find my voice to tell everyone how
hurt I was. It’s like screaming, in a way. After you do it, you feel empty, but in a good
way, because you know that now there’s no
more pain to get rid of from your body, and
that you can only fill yourself with new and
positive thoughts.
So scream, cry, be alone for a while if you
have to, but then forgive yourself for being
low, accept, look in the eyes of your past
and start breathing again. ?
